All-Ceramic Implant Prosthesis (Click to view case)

Problem:

All of this patient’s upper teeth were in very bad shape.

Treatment:

All of the upper teeth were removed and 4 implants were placed. At the same appointment, a temporary fixed set of teeth were attached so that the patient was able to eat during the 3 months required for the implants to heal. After healing, a full set of new upper teeth made with porcelain and zirconia was fabricated. The patient is now able to eat all types of food and feel confident with her smile.

Single Tooth Implant Crown

Problem:

This young patient had a bike accident and broke 2 teeth. Unfortunately one of the teeth could not be saved.

Treatment:

The front tooth was replaced by a single dental implant and the tooth next to it was restored with a porcelain veneer.

Single Crown

Problem:

This patient had a broken front tooth and she did not wanted it extracted.

Treatment:

In order to save the tooth, a customized post was placed in the tooth to hold a porcelain crown. Customized staining for the crown ensured a good color match with the surrounding teeth.

Pink & White Porcelain

Problem:

This patient had a lot of dental work done at different times that resulted in severe color and shape mismatch. Also, many teeth could not be saved in a way that would provide her with a high level of esthetics.

Treatment:

Implants were placed and an all-ceramic fixed prosthesis was placed to restore the patient’s function and esthetics.

Porcelain/Zirconia Implant Prosthesis

Problem:

This patient had severe gum disease that caused his upper teeth to be very loose.

Treatment:

His upper teeth were removed and at the same time, 6 implants were placed. At the same appointment that the loose teeth were removed, a fixed temporary set of teeth was immediately attached to the new implants. The patient left the day of the procedure with teeth that were firmer than his natural teeth.  After 3 months of healing, an all-ceramic prosthesis was secured to the implants. Pink porcelain was used to recreate the gums that were lost.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Problem:

This patient is a vegetarian and has a very fibrous diet. This resulted in severe wear of his teeth, leading to poor esthetics and a “bad bite”.

Treatment:

His teeth were prepared minimally and crowns were made. Different materials were used in different areas in the mouth. Front crowns were made with more translucent and esthetic materials while back teeth were made with stronger but more opaque materials.

Full Mouth Implant Bridges

Problem:

This patient was a heavy smoker and he lost all his teeth. Knowing that smoking decreases the success of implant success, he wanted to have all fixed teeth again.

Treatment:

A 3 dimensional radiographic scan was done and implants were carefully planned. The implant placement procedure was done computer-guided which ensured a high level of precision.  Ceramic-metal implant bridges were made for both his upper and lower teeth.

Anterior Porcelain Bridge

Problem:

This patient was very unlucky and one of her front teeth had internal root resorption. That is a condition where the body attacks and dissolves the tooth root. A lot of bone and gum was also missing due to infection.

Treatment:

The tooth had to be removed it was replaced by a porcelain bridge cemented to the teeth next to it.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Problem:

This patient already went through a lot of dental work previously but all her dental restorations were severely worn down.

Treatment:

Her upper acrylic-titanium prosthesis was replaced by a metal-porcelain prosthesis. This is a complex prosthesis where individual crowns are cemented onto a metal substructure. Her lower crowns were also replaced with new ones.

Dentures/Overdentures

Problem:

This patient was missing many teeth and many of her remaining teeth could not be saved. She was also suffering from a bad bite and was not happy with her smile.

Treatment:

2 implants were used in the lower jaw to retain a snap-on denture and a full denture was made for the upper jaw. The patient was very happy and said her life was changed.

Crowns

Problem:

This patient had a very old crown that did not match his surrounding teeth. There was also issues with crowding.  The patient wanted an improvement in his smile but wanted some of the crowding to be recreated in order to have a more natural look.

Treatment:

4 ceramic crowns were fabricated for the front teeth.

Veneers

Problem:

This patient had severely worn her lower teeth.

Treatment:

Veneers were placed on the lower front 4 teeth to replace the missing tooth structures.

Implants & Ceramics

Problem:

This patient had severe gum disease that severely loosened his teeth. He was also in a car accident that knocked his teeth looser.

Treatment:

6 dental implants were placed immediately after his teeth were removed. A full arch ceramic prosthesis was secured to the implants and the patient’s ability to eat was restored.

Crowns & Implant Reconstruction

Problem:

This patient had many old crowns that have become unesthetic. She also had many lower teeth that have deteriorated and can no longer support her lower partial denture. She wanted to re-restore her whole mouth and to improve her oral health.

Treatment:

New crowns were placed on the upper teeth and 4 implants were placed in the lower jaw. An acrylic-titanium set of teeth were secured to these implants.

Acrylic/Titanium Implant Prosthesis

Problem:

This patient had a high risk for getting cavities. Even though many of her teeth had crowns done years ago, she kept getting cavities.

Treatment:

Many of her teeth could not be saved. Implants were placed on both the upper and lower jaw in stages. She never had worn a removable prosthesis.  Conventional acrylic and titanium fixed implant prostheses were fabricated for the upper and lower jaws. The underside of the prosthesis is highly polished to facilitate oral hygiene.

All Ceramic Crowns

Problem:

This patient had a lot of fillings in her front teeth and she was not happy with the shapes and color of teeth.

Treatment:

Dental implants were placed in the back and all her teeth were restored with porcelain crowns to give her a beautiful smile.

Porcelain Crowns

Problem:

This patient was unhappy with her 2 existing porcelain crowns and more unhappy with the color/shape mismatch of her 2 temporary crowns.

Treatment:

4 new provisional crowns were made for her immediately so she can feel confident with her smile while the new porcelain crowns were made.

Metal-Ceramics

Problem:

This patient had many missing teeth and neglected his oral health. He finally decided to have a full mouth fixed.

Treatment:

Dental implants were used to replace the missing back teeth and bridges were fabricated to restore the front teeth.  The patient wanted very white teeth since he never had nice teeth!
